Experts and Scholars at Home and Abroad Discuss Innovation and Global Industrial Development in WUT

　　On June 15, sponsored by WUT and Hubei Province Science & Technology and Innovation and Economic Development Research Center (STIED), the Third Global Innovation and Industrial Development Forum 2016 and 2016 International Symposium on "new impetus, new models and new economy" was held at WUT. More than 300 people, including well-known scholars and doctors from China, the United States, France, Japan and other countries and regions, as well as professors, postgraduate students, international students, undergraduates of WUT related to disciplines attended the Symposium.

　　In the opening ceremony, Vice-President Zeng Cunnian gave the welcoming remarks. He introduced the development status and educational philosophy of WUT and expressed his good wishes to the Symposium. Professor Wei Long, Dean of the School of Economics introduced the background and theme of this Symposium.

　　Professor Jean-Louis MUCCHIELLI from University of Paris in France, Professor Yoshiteru Nakamori Hokuriku from Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and professor Delaval from Bordeaux School of Business delivered keynote speeches on new motivation for China to invest in Europe, formation mechanism of knowledge creation in universities and economy, the global strategy for SMEs under cross-cultural background respectively. Experts also interacted with WUT faculty and students.
